Meet CarlosMy pursuit for health began with a genuine interest for reaching a state of personal wellbeing and from there being able to help others to achieve the same.
After graduating from the National Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mexico City I began my professional career as acupuncturist and massage practitioner in the year 2004 at both my private office and the DIF-Puebla, a government institution in Mexico.
Then I moved to Vancouver, where I obtained the diploma of Acupuncturist at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and the title of Registered Acupuncturist at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia.
At present, I do therapies in the Greater Vancouver Area, and every year I travel to Mexico to treat patients and to teach acupuncture and massage courses.
My interest in collaborating and helping the community has taken me to be a volunteer of different organizations such as The Vancouver Friends for Life Society where I offered therapies to patients facing life threatening illnesses, and The Salvation Army Belkin House in Vancouver.
When I am not treating patients or devising didactic materials I enjoy art, music, and cooking with my wife Chio; I practice yoga, tai qi, qi gong, and meditation.
